Charlese and Frank’s engagement session was at Hoppily Ever After Farms – you might remember their cool summer style, with that retro garden-party vibe. Well, they brought that same style, personality and swagger to their wedding, along with some feathers and fedoras… and it was such an amazing evening. The wedding was at a gorgeous private residence, overlooking Lake Huron, and all their friends and family were gathered for their big day. Charlese just lights up when Frank is around, and she could not stop laughing and smiling all day. Frank only had eyes for his gorgeous bride, and he looked mighty dapper himself in a fedora and white tuxedo jacket. The wedding was 1920’s themed, so feather fans were a natural replacement for bouquets and the guests all turned up in their finest flapper outfits. It was beautiful, it looked like Jay Gatsby would walk through the doors at any moment. Even if he did, nobody would notice – all eyes were on Frank and Charlese as they grinned throughout the ceremony and danced the night away! These two are so crazy about each other, and the whole wedding was such a fun celebration of their relationship. Here’s some favorites from the day…
Priceless reaction shot! One of my absolute favorites from the day.
You know how much I love a good First Look… and this one was great!!
The bridesmaids made sure everyone was loosened up and ready for portraits, and then it was off to the ceremony!
The ceremony had a gorgeous view of Lake Huron, and the weather could not have been more perfect for a late summer wedding. It was a beautiful September day, sunny and breezy with a nice cool evening for a tent reception. It was a flawless day from start to finish – something that’s never a guarantee for an outdoor wedding in Michigan, no matter the season!
This shot sums up the entire wedding – look at how they look at each other! They could not stop smiling, and my cheeks hurt on the way home from smiling along with them all day.
Now that is how you make an entrance! These two were so very happy to be married and get the party started!
Entertainment by Holly Hutton, of the Rob & Holly Show on 99.5!
Sunset portraits on the beach! If you’re having a lake-front wedding, why not soak in the beautiful scenery and watch the sun go down on your wedding day… Charlese and Frank had so many hugs to give along the way, but we made it out to the sand just in time.
And then hustled back to dance the night away! Holly had the crowd up and moving, and the dance floor stayed full all night!
Congratulations, Frank and Charlese!
