Chantelle and Nathan are Married!

Chantelle and Nathan’s wedding was a perfect July day by the lake. Sunny, warm, breezy… can you even compete with a beautiful summer day in Michigan? What’s more gorgeous than that? Well… Chantelle. She was stunning – her long loose hair, the cathedral train, the intricate lace… and those sleeves! Her dress was amazing on the hanger, and absolutely breathtaking on the bride. The church ceremony was at St. Joe’s in Port Huron, and full of laughter and tears, it was impossible not to smile watching these two interact with each other at the altar. They are just so, so in love, and it filled the room with a joy that is hard to describe. After the ceremony they took a horse-drawn carriage to the beach for some portraits, while their guests enjoyed live music and cocktails by the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse. The tent reception was upbeat and the dance floor stayed full all night, complete with a Soul Train dance line! You can tell how much work and planning was put into the Michigan details, from the watercolor invitations to the sea glass cake and their hashtag #MeetUsAtTheLighthouse, and it all came together beautifully. It was an honor to be a part of their love story and capture this perfect day, it was such a good time. It was so hard to choose favorites to post, because I love them all! But here’s a peek at their big day…
